Radziwills portraits from Belarusian museum on display in Warsaw in 2018

MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) – Plans have been made to arrange an exhibition of portraits of the Radziwill family from the collection of the National Art Museum of Belarus in Warsaw, Poland in 2018, BelTA learned from the museum's Director General Vladimir Prokoptsov on 17 January.

The Belarusian museum came up with a major project last year as part of public private partnership with Maciej Radziwill, a descendant of the Radziwill family. As part of the project over 100 artifacts from Maciej Radziwill's collection and the collection of the Belarusian museum will be put on display.

Expositions featuring artifacts and portraits of the Radziwill family have been held in Minsk, Gomel, and Biala Podlaska. “This year we are preparing a large joint exhibition in Warsaw,” noted the director general of the National Art Museum of Belarus.

Vladimir Prokoptsov added that a number of other projects are being worked on in association with the Polish side.
