The plein air organized by the monastery of the Holy Trinity parish has drawn together 40 professionals: representatives of Vitebsk and Minsk art schools, and artists from Russia. They have been provided with all the conditions (food, accommodation, workshops) and also a rich cultural program. The main objective of the plein air is to promote dialogue between the religion and art, to find common color range and refine the shades of harmony.

The theme of the plein air is the 500th year anniversary of the Belarusian book printing celebrated in the country in 2017.

Before the plein air is over, Bishop of Vitebsk Oleg Butkevich will hold a divine liturgy. An exhibition of the artists' works will be running all day long on 30 July. Admission is free, but those who would like to come need to remember that Druya is located in the border zone, therefore having a passport is a must.
