Patriarch Kirill to visit Belarus on 13 October

MINSK, 1 October (BelTA) - Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill will visit Belarus on 13 October, BelTA learned from the official website of the Belarusian Orthodox Church.

On the same day, Patriarch Kirill will lead a service at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Minsk which will begin at 18.00. The following day, 14 October, he will consecrate the Memorial Church of All Saints. The service will begin at 9.00.

As it was reported, the Holy Synod will convene in Belarus on 15 October. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia is expected to attend the meeting along with permanent and temporary members of the Holy Synod ahead of the feast of the Intercession of the Theotokos.
