MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) – Over a hundred Belarusian hi-tech solutions are currently on display at Transfiere 2017, the 6th European Meeting for Science, Technology and Innovation in Malaga, Spain, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee (SSTC) of Belarus.
“Over 100 hi-tech and knowledge-intensive solutions and exhibits by organizations and institutions of the Belarusian Education Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection are currently showcased at the Transfiere expo that is underway in Malaga on 15 and 16 February. The solemn opening ceremony of Belarus' national pavilion was attended by SSTC Chairman Alexander Shumilin,” the press service said.
The Belarusian delegation will present the latest sci-tech and innovative projects and also the most promising solutions in different areas of bilateral cooperation. Besides, plans have been made to consider ways to step up cooperation in science, technology and innovations and in the organization of joint sci-tech events.
“Alexander Shumilin will attend a number of meetings and hold talks with representatives of the State Secretariat for Research, Development and Innovation of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness of Spain on matters related to mutual technology transfer and export of Belarusian hi-tech and knowledge-intensive products to Spain,” the press service added.
It is for the first time that Belarus has presented a national pavilion at Transfiere, the European Meeting for Science, Technology and Innovation.More about Society
