BREST, 21 April (BelTA) – Every Belarusian citizen will find answers to the current questions in the State of the Nation Address, Deputy Chairman of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee Oleg Velichko told BelTA.
“Every Belarusian citizen who has watched or will watch the Address will find answers to almost any questions. The Belarusian leader commented on a range of pressing issues that are widely discussed today and need to be settled. Decree No.3 is among them. Alexander Lukashenko stated his position clearly: everyone must work. We have to offer jobs to all the unemployed by 1 May. Brest Oblast has almost completed this project. Thousands of people got full-time employment, temporary or seasonal jobs, or currently provide paid community service,” Oleg Velichko emphasized.
He pointed out that Brest Oblast will reach its employment target on time. The region will continue to offer employment assistance once the objective is reached.
Oleg Velichko also spoke about salaries. “We would really want the salaries to be higher. We expect to reach Br1,000 per month by the end of the year. This is achievable, but we should work hard and do a lot to get this result. The money should be earned, not printed,” Oleg Velichko emphasized.More about Society
