MINSK, 29 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian airline Belavia has no scheduled flights to Istanbul on 29 June, Igor Cherginets, Belavia's Deputy Director General for Marketing and Foreign Economic Affairs, told BelTA.
According to Igor Cherginets, a flight of the Turkish airline is on the timetable from Istanbul's Ataturk international airport to the Belarusian capital on 29 June. It can be canceled.
A gun and bomb attack on Istanbul's airport late on 28 June killed 36 people and injured more than 140. Three attackers opened fire near the international terminal of the airport and blew themselves afterwards. The bombings have been linked to IS.
According to the preliminary information of the Turkish Healthcare Ministry, there are no Belarusian nationals on list of people affected by the explosions.
