Mironchik: Nearly 480 foreign reporters have been accredited to cover president election in Belarus

MINSK, 1 October (BelTA) - About 480 foreign reporters have been accredited to cover the presidential election in Belarus so far, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told media on 1 October, BelTA informs.

According to Dmitry Mironchik, nearly 250 foreign reporters have permanent accreditation with the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The majority of them will be covering the presidential election campaign in the country. Apart from that, 228 more have been temporarily accredited to cover the event. Dmitry Mironchik added that all the accreditation requests from foreign journalists have been granted.

Since the accreditation of journalists to cover the presidential election is open until 7 October, we expect the arrival of more applications, said Dmitry Mironchik.
