Minsk to host St Petersburg Days on 6-8 October

MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – St Petersburg Days will take place in Minsk on 6-8 October, BelTA learnt from the Association for Entrepreneurship Promotion “St Petersburg Interregional Information and Business Center”.

The Russian delegation will include representatives of the executive branch of the government, cultural figures, and directors of companies. The delegation will be led by St Petersburg Vice Governor Sergei Movchan.

“The event will aim to intensify humanitarian cooperation, develop economic ties between companies of St Petersburg and Minsk, search for potential partners, set up joint companies and expand the presence of St Petersburg business in Belarus,” the association explained.

The program of St Petersburg Days will comprise a number of events: a business forum with the participation of representatives of the business community of St Petersburg and Belarus, roundtable sessions on the issues of mutual interest (supplies of food products, trade and economic cooperation, the St Petersburg Startup session), working meetings, a business matchmaking session, visits to Minsk leading companies and concerts featuring St Petersburg singers and artistic companies.
