MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) – Vocal duos from 12 countries will take part in the 11th edition of the open contest Songs That Unite Us, BelTA learned from the press service of Minsk City Hall.
The opening ceremony will take place at the Palace of Culture of Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) at 18:00. The event will make part of the celebrations of MTZ's 72nd anniversary. The winners will receive gold, silver and bronze medals, and also memorable gifts.
A professional jury is to announce the best singers. It comprises big-name cultural figures from the countries participating in the contest as well as artists.
The participants are scheduled to go on tour of Minsk and MTZ on 21 April. They will also visit theaters and concert halls in the Belarusian capital.
Throughout its history, the project has seen over 100 vocal duos from 14 countries.More about Society
