MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – According to the data released by the Belarusian embassy in the UK, there are no Belarusian nationals among the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing, BelTA learned from the Twitter account of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Belarusian embassy earlier issued a recommendation to Belarusians that stay in Manchester to follow the instructions of the local authorities and avoid visiting the site of the incident.
As was reported, a blast happened at the Manchester Arena on Monday, 22 May, following a concert by the US pop singer Ariana Grande. According to the local police, the attack killed 22 and injured 59. The suicide attack at the Manchester Arena became the worst atrocity in the UK since 52 people were murdered in the 7/7 London bombings in 2005.
