Men open fire in Iranian parliament

Tehran, 7 June (BelTA - IRNA) - Four men entered the parliament on Wednesday morning and opened fire, injuring 3 gaurds in the corridors.

The gunmen carried two Kalashnikov and one colt firearms.

The door to the main chamber of the Iranian Parliament is closed while the MPs are inside.

One of the assailants was arrested, according to a memebr of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament.

The parliament's Cultural and Public Relations Director General Mahdi Kiaie said that the security forces and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are controlling the situation.
