Korean Film Days in Brest on 17-20 November

BREST, 15 November (BelTA) – The Korean Film Days in Brest will take place under the auspices of the Korean Embassy in Belarus on 17-20 November, Director of Brestoblkinovideoprokat Company Dmitry Selyuk told BelTA.

Films will be screened in the Belarus Cinema House in original with Russian subtitles. Brest residents and visitors will see six films produced in the Republic of Korea. These will be a historical drama, family, romantic and music comedies, and a detective-melodrama.

“The entry will be free. We hope that this cultural initiative of the Korean embassy will catch the interest of the general public,” Dmitry Selyuk noted.

The Korean Film Days will open with the romantic comedy Pedant. It is expected that the opening ceremony of the Days will be attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Belarus Kim Yong Ho. Korean paintings, arts and crafts will be on show at the Belarus Cinema House as part of the event.
