Kochanova urges to step up work with people's complaints and appeals at all levels

MINSK, 16 February (BelTA) – The session of the board for monitoring people's complaints and appeals will take place at the Belarus President Administration in the near future, Head of the Belarus President Administration Natalya Kochanova told reporters during the on-site meeting on the implementation of Ordinance No. 3 “On preventing social dependency” in Zhodino on 16 February, BelTA informs.

“Very soon we will hold the session of the board on people's complaints and appeals at the Belarus President Administration,” Natalya Kochanova said. In her words, the experts will make an objective evaluation of the progress in the implementation of Ordinance No. 3. “The organization of on-site meetings with the representatives of the Belarus President Administration is not a publicity campaign. We have done it before and will continue doing it if there are any pressing issues in regions,” she stressed.

Natalya Kochanova pointed out the need to step up work with people's complaints and appeals at all levels. “We should consider all petitions in a prompt and objective manner,” she said. According to the head of the Belarus President Administration, it is wrong when too many petitions are considered at the level of superior authorities. Heads of local authorities, enterprises, and organizations should do their best to solve existing issues. “Of course, certain issues should be addressed at the republican level. However, it is an important criterion in the work of local administration bodies. If the number of subsequent petitions, petitions to superior agencies, and collective petitions is increasing, it indicates that local authorities are underperforming in certain fields,” she believes.

In view of the growing number of people's complaints regarding the implementation of Ordinance No. 3 “On preventing social dependency”, a decision was made to hold on-site meetings with the high-ranking officials of the Belarus President Administration, Belarus president's aides – chief inspectors in regions and heads of the main departments at the Belarus President Administration in district executive committees and city halls, district administrations in cities.
