GOMEL, 16 March (BelTA) – To keep people employed is the most important task for executives at enterprises of all forms of ownership, Natalia Kochanova, Head of the Belarus President Administration, said as she introduced new Director General Oleg Pochinok to the employees of OAO Gomeltransneft Druzhba on 15 March, BelTA has learned.
Natalia Kochanova stressed that an executive should, first of all, do everything possible to provide his or her employees with a decent salary, social security, and the ability to grow professionally. “I strongly believe that this is how your new head Oleg Pochinok is going to manage the enterprise,” she said.
Natalia Kochanova stressed that she is well acquainted with the work of OAO Gomeltransneft Druzhba and heard of the good traditions of the staff, based upon its high professionalism. “Your enterprise is very important for Gomel and the oblast as well as the whole Belarus. I hope that the staff will successfully meet all the tasks it has been set,” Natalia Kochanova said.
She also noted that Oleg Pochinok is a well-known person in the region. “I guess, there is no need to tell you the biography of your new director general. He lived and worked here, in Gomel Oblast all the time. He oversaw transport and energy matters while serving as a deputy chairman of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee. Gomeltransneft Druzhba renders oil transportation services. That is why I do believe that Oleg Pochinok will soon get the hang of things,” Natalia Kochanova concluded.
