Kobyakov to visit Vitebsk Oblast

MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov will go on a working trip to Vitebsk Oblast on 18 May, BelTA learnt from the press service of the government.

Andrei Kobyakov will tour Orsha Machine-Tool Plant Krasny Borets where he will be briefed on development and production of high-tech machine tools and ways to boost their export.

During his visit to Orsha Instrument-Making Plant the prime minister will discuss progress made in elaborating the investment project to start producing top-notch metal-cutting equipment and auxiliary tools using innovative technological solutions. The premier will also discuss efficiency of measures to get the company back on track.

Top on the agenda of the visit to Vitebsk Oblast will be ways to improve performance at Orshaagroprommash, Automatic Control Equipment Plant, Legmash, Tekhnika Svyazi, Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant and Orsha Construction Trust No.18.

Andrei Kobyakov will tour Orsha Meat-Packing Plant to study the company's economic performance, its development prospects and ways to boost export of baby food.
