The Belarusian Emergencies Ministry marked Firefighters Day with a parade in the Belarusian capital on 22 July. The procession featured the guards of honor of the University of Civil Protection, wind bands, firefighter veterans and young rescuers.
The parade was followed by celebrations in the Maksim Gorky Children's Park. Rescuers held a number of competitions and displayed firefighting equipment.
Firefighters Day in Belarus is marked on 25 July.
