MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – Etihad Airways, the national air carrier of the United Arab Emirates, says it has no plans to cancel the Abu Dhabi-Minsk-Abu Dhabi air service, BelTA learned from the company's office in Minsk.
BelTA reported earlier that the service was to be canceled in March 2017. “A decision was made to continue the service. Starting from 26 March, it will be available three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Today, Etihad Airways operates the same three flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Therefore, the flight frequency will stay the same. It is only that the Sunday flights will be operated on Saturdays instead,” the specialists said.
The air service between Abu Dhabi and Minsk was launched in 2008.
Etihad Airways is the national air carrier of the United Arab Emirates headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Founded in November 2003, it soon became one of the fastest-growing airlines in the history of commercial aviation.
