MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) – Hungary has welcomed the news about Belarus' introducing a five-day visa-free travel for citizens of 80 countries with great interest and optimism, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Alexander Khainovsky said in an interview to BelTA.

“We did our best to provide all stakeholders, including travel agents, business community, politicians, sportsmen, students and the academic community with full information about the visa-free travel to Belarus,” the diplomat said.

In his words, openness and hospitality of Belarusians attract foreign guests to the country. It is important that as many foreigners as possible come see Belarus with their own eyes, he added.
