Denmark military to inspect one of Belarus' army units

MINSK, 19 February (BelTA) – Denmark's inspection team will visit Belarus on 19-22 February in accordance with the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE Treaty), BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.

They will inspect one of the military units which are subject to control under the CFE Treaty. The aim of the inspection is to prove that the actual amount of the materiel limited by the CFE Treaty corresponds to the declared data, the ministry said.

The group will include five Danish military inspectors and also military inspectors from the UK, Canada, Portugal and the United States (one from each country).
