DBRB to provide $1m worth of equipment to Gomel children's hospital

MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) – The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB) will provide $1 million worth of equipment to the Gomel Oblast Children's Clinical Hospital, Chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation, told the media following the meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 15 February, BelTA has learned.

“We have launched the Healthy Baby program. It is aimed at re-fitting all perinatal centers across the country so that newborns could get help even in a small district town should they need it. This year, the equipment worth $1 million will be delivered to the Gomel Oblast Children's Clinical Hospital,” Sergei Rumas said.

He also informed about the status of the School Bus program. According to him, 330 school buses transport about 13,000 children around the country every day. Today, there is no need in large-scale assistance in this areas. The regions continue to upgrade the fleets of school buses, said Sergei Rumas.
