MINSK 3 May (BelTA) – The international exhibition Mass Media in Belarus is popular with the Chinese media, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming said at the opening of the forum on 3 May, BelTA has learned.
Mass Media in Belarus enjoys great popularity. Representatives of the Chinese mass media have been taking an active part in the forum for many years, the Ambassador said. He added that cooperation in the information sector is among the most important themes for China and Belarus.
According to Cui Qiming, Belarus is hosting a press tour for Chinese journalists who have already visited the expo. The diplomat thanks Belarus for such an opportunity and the invitation.
Attending the opening of the expo was Chairman of the Black Sea Association of National News Agencies, Director General of the Bulgarian News Agency Maxim Minchev. He wished the forum participants a successful exhibition and extended greetings on Day of the Press marked in Belarus on 5 May.
