Cui Qiming said he was confident that while staying in Zubrenok the children had already been able to get to know the friendliness of Belarusian kids. He advised children to talk more to each other, get familiar with the national culture and traditions of their countries, and act as kind of ambassadors. The diplomat said he hopes that in the future the young Chinese, who are staying in Belarus for recreation, will come back here as university students.

Because it is they who will have to advance the bilateral relations in the future, continuing joint projects.

BelTA reported earlier that 150 Chinese kids are expected to spend some recreation time in the Belarusian education and recuperation center Zubrenok this year. Upon doctor's orders they will be offered various medical treatments. Apart from that, the guests are taking part in a project meant to raise the awareness of young Belarusians about Chinese culture.

While in Belarus the Chinese kids are expected to go on sightseeing tours to Mir Castle, Nesvizh Castle, to Minsk, the Naroch Lake area, and the Nesluch Homestead Local Lore Museum.

Zubrenok welcomed the first kids from China in August 2015 upon the Belarus president's invitation. Since 2015 the Zubrenok center has been running Chinese language courses every summer. This year the center has also welcomed children from Japan and Syria.
