MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – The Chinese defense minister is on an official visit to Belarus, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
The official visit of Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe to Belarus is taking place from 5 to 8 April. “The Chinese official is set to hold meetings with representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry to discuss the ways of further development of the bilateral military cooperation in joint combat training, military education and cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,” the ministry said.
The Chinese defense minister is also expected to visit a number of military facilities of the Armed Forces of Belarus.
