Children from Belarus take part in Nuclear Kids 2017

MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) - Children from Belarus are taking part in the international project Nuclear Kids 2017, BelTA learned from the press center of the project.

Nuclear Kids is the children's art project by Rosatom State Corporation. The next stop on the tour will be Moscow on 17 and 18 August. The kids will show the two-hour performance “Just Summer Rain”. This is a story about a young boy who gets into a modern city and gets into most unexpected adventures. The musical has already been shown in St. Petersburg, Sarov, Nizhny Novgorod and in Hungary's Kalocsa and Paks).

This year the project has brought together 21 representatives from 13 countries: Russia, Turkey, China, India, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Hungary, the United States, Lithuania, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Croatia, and Belarus. Belarus is represented by Alexander Kazeika and Darya Kosenkova from Ostrovets, Grodno Oblast.

The team working on the show involved famous professionals: script writer, director, songwriter Vladimir Karabanov, choreographer Maksim Nedolechko, composer Ilya Efimov, lighting designer Andrei Buravchikov and others.

Nuclear Kids annually brings together talented children of employees of the nuclear power industry from Russia and foreign partner-countries of Rosatom to produce a bright musical show. Every year children get together to prepare a show within three weeks and then go on a tour around Russia and other countries. Every year it is a new screenplay and new music. Well-known film directors, choreographers, writers, composers and artists cooperate with the project.
