MINSK, 9 July (BelTA) – A bus carrying Belarusian children overturned in Romania. No serious or life-threatening injuries were reported, Anatoly Glaz, head of the department of information and digital diplomacy (spokesperson) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, told BelTA.
The accident happened near the town of Suceava on the evening of 8 July. According to preliminary information, the bus was carrying 43 children and also accompanying persons and drivers. The children were on their way to a holiday in Bulgaria.
Nineteen people including 17 children underwent a medical examination after the accident. Other members of the group did not need medical attention. The medical examination revealed no major injuries. All the passengers taken to the medical institution have already been discharged,” Anatoly Glaz said.
The Belarusian Embassy in Romania is in touch with the local authorities, parents and the people accompanying the children.
