Belavia increases number of flights to Odessa

MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian airline Belavia has announced its plans to increase the frequency of its services to Odessa to 12 times a week, BelTA learnt from the press service of the airline.

“Starting from 16 July 2016 Belavia introduces two additional regular flights from Minsk to Odessa International Airport. Thus, we will operate 12 flights a week on the route Minsk-Odessa-Minsk,” the airline's press service said.

According to Belavia, additional flights will be served by Boeing 737-300 aircraft on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Extra flights will depart Minsk at 00.20, landing in Odessa at 1.40, and return at 3.30, arriving back to Minsk at 5.00.

As was earlier informed, on 17 June 2016 Belavia added three frequencies to a daily flight to Odessa from Minsk on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

“It is no doubt that the holiday season dictates its rules, and we are happy to increase the number of frequencies to a wonderful city of Odessa. We are glad that this Ukrainian destination is so popular with both transit passengers and those going to the Black Sea,” stressed Belavia Director General Anatoly Gusarov.

The total number of flights Belavia operates to Ukrainian cities will go up to 54 a week. The Belarusian air carrier currently flies to Borispol International Airport, Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany), Kharkov International Airport and Odessa International Airport. In line with the agreement on a joint use of flights with Ukraine's Motor Sich, tickets can be bought on the website www.belavia.by on another Ukrainian route – Zaporizhia-Minsk-Zaporizhia.
