MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) – The Embassy of Belarus in Indonesia advises citizens to refrain from visiting the province West Nusa Tenggara (Lombok Island) until the situation in the region stabilizes, BelTA has learned.
A major earthquake measuring 5.9 points on Richter scale hit the Indonesian island on 9 August.
The Belarusian embassy continues tracking the situation. Citizens can call the emergency number +6287777700212 to request consular assistance.
According to the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there were no Belarusians among the foreign citizens affected by the earthquake.
