Belarusian universities ready to enroll Nigerian students

MINSK, 8 February (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Nigeria Vyacheslav Beskosty and Nigerian Education Minister Mallam Adamu Adamu discussed cooperation in education, training of specialists, and education opportunities for the best Nigerian students at Belarusian universities on 8 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Nigerian representatives learned more about the potential of Belarus' education system, training of specialists in medicine, IT, engineering, and agriculture. Ambassador Vyacheslav Beskosty noted that Belarus is ready to consider any Nigerian proposal to develop bilateral cooperation, in particular, to discuss ways to encourage young gifted Nigerians to enroll in Belarusian universities.

In turn, Mallam Adamu Adamu underlined that his country has an interest in cooperation with Belarus at different educational stages, namely higher, vocational, and advanced education.
