Belarusian State University exhibits over 20 R&D solutions in Mozambique

MINSK, 28 August (BelTA) – Belarusian State University is showcasing over 20 R&D products at the 53rd international trade fair FACIM 2017 in Mozambique, BelTA learned from the university's press service.

The Belarusian exhibition features medicines and medical equipment, chemical substances and materials used in agriculture and in environmental protection, and also a multipurpose aerial multispectral system.

The university's exhibition also features a multifunctional robotic system for packing, sealing, and bonding. The novelty of this product is that the system allows for consecutive application of several sealing contours of different compositions without retuning the equipment in order to apply both polyurethane and silicone seals in one pass.

The international multisectoral expo FACIM 2017 is taking place in Maputo, Mozambique from 27 August to 3 September. FACIM is one of the largest expos in South and East Africa. Partaking in the forum are over 3,900 companies, 700 of them foreign and 3,200 domestic ones. In 2016, the expo gathered more than 94,000 visitors. Over 30 countries traditionally partake in FACIM, with Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, and Ireland among them.
