MINSK, 8 August (BelTA) – Belarusian reconnaissance troops will upgrade their fieldcraft during the final stage of the preparations for the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2017, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
Tactical and special exercise of armed forces and reconnaissance units will be held at training grounds in the area of responsibility of the Western Operational Command on 9-10 August in accordance with the command's training plan.
“The exercise will be aimed at honing reconnaissance skills, improving the commanding capabilities and comprehensive support of reconnaissance troops,” the press service said.
