Belarusian railway timetable adjusted due to summer time switch in European Union, Ukraine

MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – On the night between 25 March and 26 March Belarusian Railways will adjust the timetable of international trains due to the transition to summer time in the European Union and Ukraine, the press service of the Belarusian railway operator told BelTA.

The timetables will be adjusted in association with the railway administrations of Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine.

For instance, train No.805 Minsk-Vilnius is now scheduled to leave Minsk at 8:00 and arrive in Vilnius at 9:30. As from 26 March the train will leave Minsk at 8:00 (no change) to arrive in Vilnius at 10:30. Train No.806 Vilnius-Minsk is scheduled to leave Vilnius at 18:10 to arrive in Minsk at 21:40. After 26 March it will leave Vilnius at 19:10 to arrive in Minsk at 21:40 (no change).

The timetable for international trains travelling between Belarus and Ukraine and Poland has been adjusted as well.

For instance, train No.86 Minsk-Kiev, which is now scheduled to leave Minsk at 22:40 to arrive in Kiev at 7:52, will leave Minsk at 22:40 to arrive in Kiev at 8:40 as from 26 March.

Due to the adjusted international train timetable the timetable for some domestic trains has been adjusted as well.
