MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – Representatives of the Belarusian army will inspect Lithuanian army units, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry website.
An inspection team from Belarus will visit Lithuania on 19-22 June in line with the 2011 Vienna Document on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures. The team will inspect a designated area in Lithuania to confirm the absence of military activities, about which Lithuania is supposed to notify other parties to the Vienna Document in advance. An inspector from Russia will be part of the team.
