Belarusian construction projects in Russia's Kaluga Oblast inspected

MOSCOW, 10 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Architecture and Construction Minister Dmitry Mikulenok has inspected the social facilities being built by Belarusian companies in Russia's Kaluga Oblast, the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia told BelTA.

Dmitry Mikulenok and Kaluga Oblast Vice Governor Vladimir Mazur went to construction sites of a school for 1,000 students and a children daycare center for 220 kids in the town of Balabanovo. The foundations have been laid and exterior walls have been built as part of these projects. The school is supposed to be ready in June 2020. The children daycare center will be opened in late 2019.

Belarusian construction workers are busy building a kindergarten for 220 kids in the town of Maloyaroslavets. It will be opened in December 2019. In the city of Kaluga the delegation went to a secondary school built by Belarusian construction workers. It was opened on 1 September to welcome 1,000 students.

Dmitry Mikulenok and Vladimir Mazur also discussed prospects of cooperation in 2020. Promising avenues of Belarus' cooperation with Russia's Kaluga Oblast are supposed to be discussed at a session of the working group, which will meet in Kaluga on 15-16 October.
