More than 1,700 fans have crossed Belarus' state border so far. “For the past 24 hours almost 850 people have crossed our border. Special corridors have been designated for organized groups of fans. It takes around 15 times to cross the border of Belarus.
Russia is hosting the FIFA World Cup from 14 June to 15 July. As BelTA reported earlier, on 29 May Belarus and Russia signed an intergovernmental agreement on the rules of entry of foreign nationals and stateless persons attending international sport events. In line with the document, foreign fans will be able to travel through Belarus visa-free during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia from 4 June to 25 July.More about Society
