MINSK, 22 May (BelTA) – A delegation of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates led by Lieutenant General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, met with Belarusian Defense Minister Lieutenant General Andrei Ravkov on 21 May, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
The delegation is attending the 8th international defense technology expo MILEX 2017. During the meeting, the parties discussed current matters relating to the bilateral military and technical cooperation, and considered prospects for its intensification.
Minsk is hosting the defense technology expo MILEX 2017 from 20 to 22 May. The event has brought together almost 140 exhibitors from Belarus, Germany, China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Slovakia, and Ukraine.
