MINSK, 7 February (BelTA) – The transport sector of Belarus is ready for the 2nd European Games, Belarus Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Kukharev said to journalists on 7 February after the final board meeting of the Transport and Communications Ministry, BelTA has learned.
“The transport industry is ready for the 2nd European Games. All the policy documents have been either completed or at the final stage of implementation,” Vladimir Kukharev said.
For his part, Minister of Transport and Communications Aleksei Avramenko added that the ministry has done a great work to ensure smooth transportation of the participants of the European Games. “Minsktrans public transport service company plans to buy 200 buses and 60 electric buses this year,” he added.
