MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) - Belarus' tourist industry will take part in Adventur 2018, an international exhibition of tourism and active leisure, due in Vilnius on 26-28 January, BelTA reported, Deputy Director of Belarus' National Tourism Agency Yelena Likhimovich.

“In Belarus Lithuanian tourists are interested in nature, rural holidays, and spa treatment,” Yelena Likhimovich said. With this in mind, the Belarusian exposition will feature the country's leading travel companies, Minotel hotel chains and restaurants, the Victoria Olimp Hotel, Mir Castle Museum, Grodno Oblast with health resorts Neman-72, Ozerny, Raduga, Porechye, Alfa Radon and others. Presentation of Belarus' tourist opportunities will be held on the first day of the exhibition, 26 January, at 14.00 at the Litexpo Exhibition Center.

The National Tourism Agency believes that Grodno Oblast has a good reason to present its tourist potential in the international arena because as from 1 January 2018 the duration of visa-free stay in Grodno and Augustow Canal Park was extended to 10 days. Tourists can learn more about the visa-free program by visiting the booth of Grodno Oblast.

Adventur is one of the largest specialized international tourist events in the Baltic countries. The exhibition promotes international cooperation and tourist services in the Baltic region. The theme of the 2018 exposition is Travel Differently! The exposition has a cultural and business program.
