MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – The first organized tourist group from China will come to Belarus on a six-day tour under a program of Belarus' state-run tour operator Tsentrkurort. The trip has been organized in cooperation with the The China Tourism Group Corporation, BelTA learned from the tour operator Tsentrkurort.
On 24-30 September the tourists will see the sights of Minsk and Brest, visit the historical and cultural complex Stalin Line, the estate Mir Pchel and the museum Dudutki and get acquainted with Mir and Nesvizh castle complexes and beautiful nature of Belovezhskaya Pushcha.
The group includes 15 tourists aged between 60-80. Tsentrkurort expressed hope that the partnership with the tourism department of the China Tourism Group Corporation will result in an increase in the number of Chinese tourists visiting Belarus to 10,000.
The program “10,000 Chinese Tourists in Belarus” was discussed by the Belarusian delegation led by Belarus' First Vice Premier Vasily Matyushevsky and the China Tourism Group Corporation during the visit to Hong Kong on 16-18 January 2017.
Chinese specialists value Belarusian tourism resources which are necessary for the development of various sectors of tourism industry including war-historical tourism, agro-tourism, health tourism and ecotourism. The agreement to host and serve Chinese tourists between the Tsentrkurort and tourism department of the corporation was signed in August 2017. Several guided tours such as a six-day tour to Belarus, an eight-day tour to Belarus and Poland and a ten-say tour to Russia and Belarus were developed Together with Chinese partners.
Since 2016 Tsentrkurort has been working consistently on cooperation with the China Tourism Group Corporation, the largest tourism operator of China. The corporation operates eight regional companies, more than 150 branch offices, 500 departments in the big cities of China and 21 branch offices in 16 countries.
