Belarus to take part in Azerbaijan's Bakutel 2019

MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – Belarus will display its national exposition at the 25th edition of the International Telecommunications, Innovations and High Technologies Exhibition (Bakutel-2019) which is due to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan on 3-6 December. The Belarusian delegation will be led by Communications and Informatization Minister Konstantin Shulgan, BelTA learned from the ministry.

Belarus has taken part in Bakutel expo many times. This year Belarus' stand will feature the country's ICT organizations under the common concept “Belarus is a country of digital opportunities”. Visitors and participants of the exhibition will see Belarus' achievements and potential in the ICT sector. On display will be products of Beltelecom, Belpochta, National Center of E-Services, Research Institute of Technical Information Protection, Newland, and Technics and Communications.

Bakutel will also be used to discuss ways to further develop mutually beneficial Belarus-Azerbaijan cooperation in communications and informatization. “The Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry successfully cooperates with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan. The international forum Bakutel adds a new impetus to the partnership,” the Communications and Informatization Ministry said.

Two stamp projects will be presented at Bakutel: Belarus-Azerbaijan joint issue of stamps inspired by fairytales and a commemorative stamp to celebrate the 25th edition of the Azerbaijan International Telecommunications, Innovations and High Technologies Exhibition (Bakutel 2019).

Bakutel 2019 will bring together more than 200 participants from 20 countries. It will feature the national pavilions of Belarus, Israel, Italy, Iran, UAE, Slovenia, Russia, USA, Turkey, France, Croatia and other countries.
