Belarus to set up interdepartmental youth policy council

MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) – Belarus will establish the interdepartmental youth policy council, Tatiana Simanovskaya, deputy head of the main directorate for youth affairs at Belarus' Education Ministry, told journalists on 14 September, BelTA has learned.

The council will include representatives of state bodies and public associations. “The mission of the council will be to provide prompt solutions to various youth problems. Thus we will have an opportunity to sit down at a roundtable to discuss a problem and work out a joint solution,” Tatiana Simanovskaya said.

Work on the development of the state youth policy until 2030 is currently in progress. “This new document will embrace the main areas of the youth policy. A working group is being set up now. It will include youth representatives, experienced researchers, analysts, specialists in economy, social affairs, education, and science. The document will outline major tasks for the future to help the youth of our country feel full support, get education, build families and work,” Tatiana Simanovskaya said.
