MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian humanitarian aid will be delivered to the cities of Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk in the east of Ukraine on 14 June, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry.
“This morning the humanitarian escort of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry has left Kharkov to head for Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk,” the ministry informed. Humanitarian aid to both cities will be delivered today.
As BelTA earlier reported, the Belarusian humanitarian aid was sent to Ukraine on 11 June. It reached Kiev the next day. A part of the cargo was handed to the International Red Cross mission there, and the column proceeded to Kharkov. According to Belarus' First Deputy Emergencies Minister Alexander Khudoleyev, furniture sets and refrigerators will be distributed among the residents of Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk. The Emergencies Ministry of Belarus will hand over 225 sets of school desks and chairs, 75 school bookcases and 44 Atlant refrigerators for schools and healthcare institutions.
