MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Rachkov has paid a visit to Sudan where he is accredited as non-resident, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The diplomat took part in a meeting of the Belarusian-Sudanese joint commission on cooperation, a bilateral business forum and the opening of the Belarusian exposition at the International Fair of Khartoum.
Sergei Rachkov discussed cooperation prospects at the meetings with representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs, oil and gas, trade, irrigation and water resources, electrification, mineral resources of Sudan, Khartoum, and also with Honorary Consul of Belarus to Sudan.
