Belarus takes part in Who's Next fashion trade show in Paris

MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) - Belarusian designers took part in the international leading fashion trade show Who's Next in Paris for the first time. The French show was held on 19-22 January, BelTA learned from the Facebook page of the Belarusian embassy in France.

Who's Next is an exhibition that gathers more than 200 world's leading clothes designers and manufacturers. The trade show has become the trendsetter of next season's fashion. This year Belarus was represented by Zibra brand, created by Darina Koval and Aleksandra Zhuk. “The young and energetic duo, despite their young age, presented a very mature and professional collection,” the message runs.

Belarusian Ambassador Pavel Latushko France and Honorary Consul of Belarus in Marseille Fabrice Rault came to support the Belarusian designers. According to Ambassador Pavel Latushko, the participation of the Belarusian designers in such a big trade show confirms the great potential for the development of Belarusian-French cooperation in the field of light industry.

The Belarusian ambassador met with the director of Who's Next trade show to discuss the organization a Belarusian pavilion with participation of domestic designers at Who's Next.
