MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Shestakov met with Chairperson of the Slovakia Nuclear Regulatory Authority Marta Ziakova during her visit to Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarus Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in nuclear and radiation safety, prospects for its further enhancement within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus and the National Regulatory Authority of Slovakia, which was signed in April 2017, the ministry informed.
The parties also considered the promotion of nuclear safety regime in Europe.
