MOGILEV, 12 September (BelTA) – The City of Craftsmen fair to be arranged during the 5th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will bring together arts and crafts artists, singing and dance companies from the two countries, BelTA learned from the culture department at the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee.
Russia will be represented by delegations from Belgorod Oblast, Bryansk Oblast, Vologda Oblast, Kaluga Oblast, Kursk Oblast, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Samara Oblast, Smolensk Oblast, Tver Oblast. The fair will feature guests from Russia's Dagestan, Mari El, Komi, the Sakha Republic, Bashkortostan, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
Belarus will be represented by craftsmen and artists from all the country's regions.
The program will feature master classes, handicrafts fairs, folk games, the national cuisine and other events.
The participants and guests of the forum will enjoy the Commonwealth of Cultures – the Commonwealth of Nations concert program with the participation of Belarusian and Russian amateur artists and companies.
Mogilev will host the 5th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia 10-12 October. The organizers are the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The event is held alternatively in Belarus and Russian on an annual basis.
