MINSK, 7 March (BelTA) – The participants of the 10th Belarusian Antarctic expedition have sent Happy Women's Day wishes, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
“On this wonderful spring day we, the Belarusian polar explorers, would like to extend the warmest wishes from the coldest continent. We wish the women of Belarus happiness, wellbeing, joy and health,” the video greetings run.
The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus gave the official start to the tenth Belarusian Antarctic expedition on 8 November 2017. The expedition includes seven people: expedition head Aleksei Gaidashov, engineer-radio operator Maksim Gorbatsevich, engineer-mechanic Aleksei Zakhvatov, engineer-geophysicist Pavel Shablyko, machines and mechanisms operator and repairman Artur Ivashko, buildings and structures support technician and repairman Vladimir Nesterovich, and medic Dmitry Kovko.
