Belarus' National Library to host delegation from Oman on 19 September

MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) – The Ministry of Heritage and Culture of the Sultanate of Oman will gift books to the National Library of Belarus in a ceremony on 19 September, BelTA has learned from the representative of the library.

The delegation led by Chairman of the National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA) of the Sultanate of Oman Dr. Hamad Al-Dhawyani will visit Minsk on 17-21 September. The guests will donate more than 500 books on history, religion, politics, cultural heritage of Oman, and photo albums in Arabic and English to the National Library of Belarus.

The National Library hosted first guests from Oman in 2007. Since then the library has welcomed a number of delegations and hosted the art exhibition “Oman is Calling” during which it received books on history, culture and traditions as a gift from Oman.
