Belarus, IOM discuss joint steps to attract international technical aid

MINSK, 8 February (BelTA) – Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna met with Head of the Office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Belarus Zeinal Hajiyev on 8 February, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the areas of current and promising cooperation between Belarus and the IOM in the issues of the mandated activity of the organization, including in the field of migration, human trafficking, and border management. Alena Kupchyna and Zeinal Hajiyev also considered joint steps in attracting international technical assistance to strengthen the national potential in the abovementioned areas.
