MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – The Honorary Consulate of Belarus has opened in Alicante, Spain, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Attending the opening ceremony was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France with concurrent accreditation to Spain Pavel Latushko, Honorary Consul of Belarus to Alicante Alfonso Jurado Mesa, representatives of the Alicante City Hall, diplomatic corps, public and business circles of Valencia.
Alfonso Jurado Mesa has noted that Alicante is the third biggest home to Belarusians in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona.
