Belarus' high-ranking officials honored for contribution to EEU development

MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) – Belarusian high-ranking officials have been honored with first class medals for their contribution to the creation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The decorations were presented by Belarus' Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, BelTA has learned.

“Among the awardees are executives of different levels. The development of labor collectives greatly depends on the decisions you make. It is executives who are responsible for the effective work of our agencies and for the sustainable innovative development of our economy. I am convinced that you will successfully fulfill your duties,” Andrei Kobyakov noted.

The medals were conferred on Belarus' First Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Matyushevsky, Chairman of the Belarusian State Committee for Standardization Viktor Nazarenko, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Mikhnevich, Deputy Economy Minister Anton Kudasov, Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee Sergei Borisyuk, Deputy Justice Minister Igor Tushinsky, Chairman of the Board of OAO Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Rumas, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko.
